InfoView™ lets
users perform database queries, view analytical
results, create custom reports and graphically
analyze data, all from an intuitive, user-defined
interface. In addition to the tabulated results,
users can also view GC and GC/MS results as well
as access the native data files.
Opening Database:
If the command line argument includes the path
to Access Database or has an ODBC connection
string the database should be open when InfoView
starts.
You can tell if the database is open by the Windows
title at the top of your screen. Example: Infoview
of C:\DEMO\DATABASE\GEOCHEM.MDB
Do a Search:
The following kinds of searches are available:
- Get old job
- Sample List
- Sample_ID
- Simple
- Sequential
- Complex
- Map

Go to Sample List and in the dialog box under Sample
ID. Type in the first and last samples in the
sequence you want to view (or individual samples
in the first box if you wish to view individually).
Click Add Sample to List; and the samples you
chose will accumulate in the Sample List dialog
box. You can delete items from the Sample List
box by clicking once on the item and click Delete
Sample. To begin the search, click, Search button.
