Users of Hewlett Packard's powerful GC/MSD ChemStation software are aware of the limitations on integration and processing of ion-level data. InfoLogic has developed a series of custom macros for use with the GC/MSD ChemStation designed specifically to enhance ion-level data processing and yield more reproducible data with less time and effort.

The macro set currently available is specific for processing of petroleum biomarker data. However, it can be easily modified for any analysis that requires integration of ion-level data.

Our GC/MSD processing macros can be easily interfaced with other InfoLogic programs like ChromView, allowing automated generation of printed reports as part of the peak data processing. The processed data files are also compatible with PeakView, InfoLogic's chromatographic data viewer, and are used to display processing information like baselines, peak labels and retention times. In addtion, all data processing information is saved (and all peak and area data are automatically saved to a database), and can be recreated at a future date.
