Zooming in/out:

To zoom in on a chromatogram, simply click (left) and drag the box around the portion you wish to zoom in on. To return to the previous client window, double-click anywhere within the chromatogram and it will return to your original size image.

Ion Selection:
PeakView allows its users to view a single ion or multiple ions at a time. The only types of files that automatically allow you to view ions (without manually entering in an ion mass) are GC/MS SIM Runs. If you open a GC/MS file and the Ion button is grayed out, you are in a GC/MS Scan Run (which cannot single out ions). To View Ions in a Scan Run, go to the View Menu, select Ion, and input the ion mass you wish to view. For GC/MS SIM RUNS, click the "ion" button located on the toolbar. This will bring up the Ion List for that file. Once the "Ion List" window is up, click on the ion that you wish to view and Select OK. To view multiple ions, Hold down Ctrl and click on the ions you wish to view, then click OK.
